Suspect arrested in Lodo stabbing case

DENVER -- Police arrested a suspect in connection with a stabbing of a limo driver in lower downtown Denver Saturday night.

Arabe Negawo, 28, was arrested in Aurora in connection with the assault, Denver police said on their Twitter page Sunday.

He was arrested on a second-degree assault charge.

Police said the stabbing happened before 9 p.m. near 18th and Market streets. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
