Aurora police are seeking the public's help in determining the whereabouts of Eric Jesus Chacon-Martinez on Jan. 3, 2014.

AURORA, Colo. – Aurora police are asking for the public’s help in finding a person of interest after another man was found dead in an apartment Thursday.

Police were called to an apartment complex on S. Archer Place and S. Peoria Street, where they found a man dead inside one of the apartments, said Sgt. Chris Amsler.

Detectives are now asking for the public’s help in finding Eric Jesus Chacon-Martinez.

Amsler said Chacon-Martinez has been missing since the night of the homicide and detectives want to interview him.

He is described as 30 to 33 years old, 5-foot-8, 160 pounds and may go by the name “Jesus.”

Anyone with information on Chacon-Martinez’s whereabouts is asked to call Aurora Police at 303-739-6106. Spanish-speaking-only individuals with information may call 303-739-6957 and leave a message in Spanish.
