LOUISVILLE, Colo. — As revelers welcomed the New Year, at least two Colorado families welcomed newborns.
Brooklyn Adelita Frances Nolasco was borne just three minutes after midnight at Avista Adventist hospital in Louisville, her family said.
Brooklyn wasn’t due until Jan. 10, but mother Alyssa Meza said she started feeling contractions Tuesday while visiting the aquarium.
“I’m still in shock, but it’s a wonderful New Year’s gift,” Meza said. “It’s a New Year’s I’ll never forget.”
At the University of Colorado Hospital, Isabel was born at 3 a.m., said a hospital spokesman.
