Officer saves woman’s life then goes way beyond the call of duty

DENVER -- A police officer, who says all he did was the right thing, saved a woman and then went way beyond the call of duty to help her recovery.

A traveling nurse who was visiting Denver suffered a life-threatening medical episode on October 21.

Denver Police Officer Dwayne Huddleston took the right action when he responded to do a welfare check on Alexis Davis.

It began when Huddleston made a decision to kick in the door.
