THORNTON, Colo. -- Police in Thornton say they're looking for two suspects who are targeting elderly females who live in alone for home invasions and thefts.

It has happened at least three times since November 10 in the Redwood Estates Manufactured Home Community at 9595 Pecos St.

A male and female suspect use a fake story of going to the victim's home and asking to use a telephone because their vehicle is broken down.

They did this at two separate homes on Nov. 10 at 7:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. Officer Matt Barnes of the Thornton Police Dept. says in both cases, the suspects took the elderly female's keys and stole their cars.

One of the cars has been found, the second victim's remains missing. It is a 1998 red Buick Century.

It happened again on Nov. 20 the same way in the same community. That woman's vehicle has also been recovered.

Police identified  a male suspect in connection with two of the suspects. A warrant is out for the arrest of Damien Dahmer, 25. His wanted for aggravated auto theft and crimes against at-risk adults.

The identity of the female suspect is not known but she is described as 5-feet tall, 100-120 pounds, 20-30 years old with dark hair. She was last seen wearing dark red lipstick, a white shirt or coat and dark-colored pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call Denver Metro Area Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867).

Typical Dahmer family antics, I’m not surprised one bit. Keep an eye out there are 3 more losers on the up and coming.

He use to live in that park. And they use different ways of getting I not just by saying they have a broken down car. They attempted to get my grandma by asking for a cup of coffee.

The whole family, mother, sister, uncle, grandmother, have been kicked out of the mobile home park for various reasons. Sadly, his mother was evicted because of his actions as a teenager. As a teen, he robbed people in the park, and went to jail. Looks like he is going back again. His grandmother thought he was better, but sadly, that is obviously not proving to be true. You would think he would choose to victimize people who are wealthier not those who can barely survive. But he fits the old “familiarity breeds contempt.”

Word has it they have both been arrested… He robbed me to when I lived in that neighborhood… I think they should lock him up and throw away the key… He will never change… Nor will the rest of them… Thankfully he has one sister and brother that didn’t chose the life of crime cause there dad would beat them sensless… The rest of the family is a lost cause infortunattly
