DENVER — Goodwill Industries of Denver will open new retail stores in Arvada, Highlands Ranch and Aurora next year.

Along with the new stores, the retail non-profit plans to hire 100 workers.

Construction recently started on the Arvada store, located at 6350 McIntyre Parkway in Arvada. The almost 20,000-square-foot store is scheduled to open in the spring of 2014.

Goodwill also plans to build stores in Highlands Ranch and Aurora.

The 28,000-square-foot Highlands Ranch store will be located near the intersection of Quebec and I-470, on the northwest corner of East Business Center Drive and Poplar Way.

The 18,000-square-foot Aurora store will be located near 35th and Tower Road, on the northwest corner of Walden Court and Walden Circle. Both stores are scheduled to open in fall 2014.

All three stores will have a drive-through donation drop-off area.

“By opening three new Goodwill stores  next year we’ll create approximately 100 new jobs, plus, through the Career Connection Centers, we’ll be able help even more Coloradans in need find meaningful employment,” said Stuart Davie, President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Denver. “As a career-focused nonprofit, these impacts are exciting for our community.”
