DENVER — Restaurants around the country are hoping Halloween treats will entice families to stop by this week.

Olive Garden and Red Lobster are offering free kids meals this week with the purchase of adult meals — and costumes are not required.

On Thursday, kids 12 and younger will get a free “scary face” pancake at IHOP.

Also on Halloween — from 4 p.m. to close — Chipotle’s “boorrito” deal will get you a burrito, salad, or an order of tacos for $3 if you stop by in costume.

Finally on Thursday, everyone who goes to a Krispy Kreme store in costume gets a free doughnut.
