KIOWA COUNTY, Colo. — A possible tornado caused damage Thursday night as powerful storms marched across Colorado’s eastern plains.
Kiowa County Emergency Manager Nancy McCain says two homes were damage in Eads. She says it looks like there is a path of tornado damage, but the National Weather Service has not confirmed a tornado touch down.
She said it was too dark to see the extent of the damage. There were no injuries reported.
Power had been restored in Eads by 9:00 p.m., but it was still out in Brandon, Sheridan Lakes and Towner. Crews were working to restore electricity in those locations.
