Officials: Possible plea in murder of Jessica Ridgeway
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — There is a possible plea agreement in the murder case of Austin Sigg.
The Colorado Judicial Department says a hearing is scheduled Tuesday afternoon in the Jefferson County Courthouse.
Sigg, 18, is accused in the murder last October of 10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway.
News of the possible plea comes just days before the scheduled start of the trial. The jury selection process has already started.
There is a gag order in the case and officials say they will not comment on the development.
