Dust storm closes I-70, causes multiple crashes
DENVER — Both directions of Interstate 70 were closed Monday afternoon when a dust storm made visibility along the highway almost zero.
The closure was between Limon and Burlington and started around 2:50 p.m. It ended Monday evening as the highway reopened in both directions.
CDOT reported multiple accidents as a result of low visibility that led to the closure.
No injuries have been reported.
