Photos: Police search for suspect in Lakewood bank robbery

LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Police are looking for a man who held up a bank at W. 2nd Avenue and Wadsworth Blvd. late Friday afternoon.

Investigators say he walked into the Colorado Bank and Trust and handed a teller a note. There was no gun seen.

He ran from the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say he was on foot and went westbound into a nearby neighborhood.

He’s described as a white male in his 20s, average build with dark hair. He was wearing “skinny jeans” and a shirt with dark, thick stripes.
