DENVER — It took about 20 minutes for tickets to the Great American Beer Festival to be sold out.

That’s a record over last year where the three-day annual event sold out in just under 45 minutes.

The festival is hosted by the Brewers Association and is held at the Colorado Convention Center in the fall.

The GABF brings visitors from all over the world and includes a best in show competition. It includes 2,800 different beer samples.

Tickets were $75 or $65 for members.

In case you missed out on getting tickets, VISIT DENVER is also hosting a beer festival in October.

The fifth annual Denver Beer Fest will run from Oct. 4 to 12 and will include beer tastings, brewery tours and events.

Specific events are still to come, but the website, DenverBeerFest.com, will be a one-stop shop for everything to do with the festival, and also includes information about local Denver brewers and brewery tours.
