ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The Denver Broncos arrived at Dove Valley Saturday morning for their first padded practice of 2013.

Fans lined up early outside waiting for the gates to open just to catch a glimpse of their favorite players strapping on their pads.

Broncos head coach John Fox shared his thoughts on the first day of practice in pads adding, "This game is about habits, and building habits, hopefully good ones. It’s the first time we have been in pads since January. I thought it was a very good first day.”

Fans were cheering amongst a sea of Bronco orange and blue, excited and hopeful for a Super Bowl championship.

The signature moment came as fans were spotted "warming up" just a few feet from where the Broncos were doing the real thing.

The next open practice is Sunday at 10:25 a.m.
