Denver police: Juvenile seriously hurt after being hit by vehicle

DENVER — Denver police say a juvenile boy was hurt after being hit by a vehicle.

Police said in a tweet that the incident happened at 9725 E. Harvard Ave. Wednesday around 3:30 p.m.

The boy suffered a broken leg, police said. No information about the cause of the crash has been released yet.

Police said the driver who hit the boy stayed at the scene. It’s too early to tell if he or she will face charges, police said.

No road closures were ordered for the area.
