LAKEWOOD, Colo. — A Lakewood Police officer came to the aid of a 3-year-old, who managed to break out of his home and start wandering alone in his neighborhood Friday.

Agent Quinn Wilhelm found the little boy. They walked hand-in-hand while Wilhelm tried to find where the 3-year-old escapee lives.

Eventually, the little boy told the officer want he wanted to know.

The story has a happy ending. The little guy’s older sister was babysitting and she was frantically searching for him when the officer brought him home.

It seems her little brother broke out of the house while she wasn’t looking.

There will be no charges in this case.
