Report: 2 LAPD officers shot near police station

LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — According to reports, two LAPD were shot near the Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Station Tuesday morning.

Los Angeles’ KTLA reported that the shooting happened around 4:45 a.m.

Reports indicated that the officers were ambushed when they were pulling into the driveway of the police station.

One officer was injured in the back of his head and the other sustained a hand injury. Both have been released from the hospital.

Three people were detained in connection with the shooting, according to KTLA.
