HIGHALNDS RANCH, Colo. — Tips sent to Crime Stoppers have allowed the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office to identify some possible suspects for a string of vandalism in Highlands Ranch.

Deputies did not specify what they may or may not know about potential suspects.

“This is an extensive, on-going investigation,” said Sgt. Ron Hanavan.

No arrests have been made.

Over 25 different car and house windows were broken with rocks, spanning over 25 different blocks on June 7.

The vandalism happened in the area between Broadway and University.

Deputies released a video of the suspected vandals throwing a rock through the window of a home.

The video shows a gray or silver SUV pulling up in front of a house, with two young men getting out. A passenger hands a rock to the driver, who then runs toward the house and throws the rock.

Crime Stoppers will offer a reward of up to $2,000 for any information leading to an arrest and the reporting person can remain anonymous. Tips can be called into 720-913-STOP (7867), or texted to: 274637 (CRIMES).
