CASTLE ROCK, Colo. -- Thousands of people lined up around Douglas County Fair Grounds in Castle Rock late Sunday afternoon for what many call an opportunity of a lifetime, just ask 11 year-old Jared Rios.

"I'm really excited. It's going to be fun for me to see them. I'm a huge fan of the show and they are really funny to me," said Jared Rios a fan of "Duck Dynasty."

While some waited in line showing their support with their duck callers.

Others dressed the part in ducking hunting clothes.

"Actually this is what I wear anyway," said Kit Bolton, a "Duck Dynasty" fan.

Surprisingly, they weren't lined up to see a music legend or even a famous Hollywood actor. Instead it was all about Phil and Willie Robertson, who star in the hit reality series "Duck Dynasty." A show featuring men in beards, who create duck callers in Louisiana.

But, the father/son duo also believes there is another reason people love their show...

"I think it has a lot to do with the family values... It's a clean show," said Willie Robertson, reality star on "Duck Dynasty."

And It's their Christian, family values that  brought them to Castle Rock... to be guest speakers at a fundraiser for Rock Christian Academy... A private elementary school.

"It's a Christian school...We are saying exactly what the founding fathers said... We ought to be as a people. So, that's our message," said Phil Robertson, a reality star on Duck Dynasty.

Their message is why many bought tickets.

For Jared just being in the same room with these duck reality stars  was a thrill worth waiting to see.

"Just being here is enough, if we don't get to meet them or say hi to them, it's just enough to see them and see what they stand up for," said Rios.

Rock Christian Academy school officials hoped to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars at the event for their school.
