COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Police have arrested three people in connection with the murder of a Colorado Springs man, including his wife, daughter and an acquaintance.

According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, 47-year-old Miguel Barajas was found dead in his home in the 100 block of Judson Street from apparent gunshot wounds.

Colorado Springs Police said Barajas’ daughter, 33-year-old Dawn Richburg, called 911 on February 13 after she told officers she found the home had been burglarized upon her return to the house.

On Saturday morning, deputies arrested Richburg, Barajas’ wife, 52-year-old Sandra Barajas, as well as 34-year-old Tommy Wright, who is an acquaintance of both Dawn and Sandra.

All three suspects are being held without bond for suspicion of murder, conspiracy to commit murder and solicitation of murder.

Wright was in custody in Douglas County on unrelated charges, and will transfer to the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center, where Barajas and Richburg are being held.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
