Man injured after shooting near Aurora home

AURORA — A man was injured after a shooting at a house in Aurora Saturday afternoon.

Police responded to a home located at 2292 Emporia St. and 23rd Ave. just before 5 p.m. to discover that a man had been shot.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Police are not sure if the shooting happened outside of the house. Police have not identified a suspect.
