AURORA, Colo. — Aurora police say the death of a man whose body was found Tuesday morning is suspicious.

Police were called to a home in the 1300 block of Racine Street around 6:40 a.m. after someone reported an unresponsive man, said spokesman Frank Fania.

Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. It’s not clear exactly how the man died, but Fania said he suffered an “unknown type of trauma.”

Fania said an autopsy would be conducted.

Investigators with the Major Crime/Homicide Unit are on scene and detectives are conducting interviews. They also plan to get a search warrant for the man’s home, Fania said.
