Teen accused of killing her mother-in-law in Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A teenager was in jail Thursday because she’s under investigation for killing her mother-in-law.
Colorado Springs Police were called to the Tanager Meadow Apartments on the southeast side of the city Wednesday afternoon on a call about a fight.
When officers arrived, they found a woman dead.
Reports say the victim was Deborah Rainey, 59, of San Francisco. The coroner says she died after being stabbed several times.
Police arrested 19-year-old Elizabeth Rainey who has been charged in her mother-in-law’s death.
