Denver police search for 2 armed robbery suspects

DENVER — Police are looking for two men they say robbed a bank on Quebec St. in Stapleton Wednesday morning.

Officers said a call came in at approximately 10:30 a.m. that two men in masks holding guns entered the 1stBank at 2850 and Quebec St.

Police said an employee hid under their desk and called 911. The suspects were reportedly in the bank’s safe room.

The two men fled on foot and jumped into a silver minivan.

Police are looking for the suspects described as black men wearing scarves over their faces. One man was wearing a teal Florida Marlins baseball cap, a gray sweatshirt and a yellow jacket.

The second suspect is described as 5-foot-10 with a medium build, and was wearing a red baseball cap.
