DENVER — Water crews were working to repair damage to a pipe along Santa Fe Drive on Friday morning, causing delays on the heavily-used morning commute route.

Denver Water’s repair work on a broken service line, which was taking place between 9th Avenue and 11th Avenue, shut Santa Fe down to one lane early Friday morning.

Few residents were without water while crews made repairs, with Denver Water saying the building at 1075 Santa Fe Dr. was the only one that was expected to be impacted.

Repairs were expected to be complete and traffic flow back to normal by 12:30 p.m.
