Shoveling sidewalks taken seriously in Longmont
Communities all over Colorado require people to shovel the sidewalk in front of the house within 24 hours of a storm.
The reason is simple. It’s so people walking can safely use the sidewalks so they don’t have to walk in the street following a storm.
Municipal enforcement personnel take their job seriously in Longmont. So do residents when it comes to shoveling.
