DENVER — “As always,” the Denver-based airline wrote in a press release, Frontier’s best fares continue to be found on our website.

There was a looming “but.”

“Frontier schedules and fares will no longer be available on Expedia.”

Frontier announced Monday that the company was unable to reach a deal with one of the world’s most popular travel websites. Perhaps seeking to soften that blow to customer convenience, Frontier promised to lighten the burden on their customer’s wallets — at least temporarily.

For customers willing to book their flights on FlyFrontier.com, the company will offer several one-way flights at discounted prices between $39 and $84 — all of which must be booked before March 3.

“Customers can still find our low fares on other travel sites such as Travelocity, Orbitz and Priceline,” Frontier’s senior vice president Daniel Shurz said. “But they will get the best value with Frontier when they book directly at FlyFrontier.com.”
