Rush Limbaugh ashamed of U.S. ‘for first time’
Some are calling Rush Limbaugh’s show on Thursday a call for a Tea Party revival. Limbaugh opened the show by saying that he is ashamed of the United States. He explained that alarmist scare tactics used by both parties are being used to continue spending on government programs.
“To have our common sense and intelligence insulted the way it is … it just makes me ashamed” said Limbaugh.
He said that despite the sequester cuts the government would spend more this year than last.
He said that it does not matter who is in power. “It’s the same stuff, it’s the same threats, it’s the same arguments, over and over nothing ever changes.”
The comments reflect a common Tea Party with politics in Washington DC.
