Man calls 911 to report his own arrest accusations

MESA COUNTY, Colo. – A Mesa County man who called police to tell them he was being accused of molesting a little girl was later arrested for sexually assaulting a child.

The Daily Sentinel reported that 38-year-old Tillman Clifton was arrested at 5:40 a.m. Tuesday, after he called police to tell them his wife was accusing him of molesting a little girl.

Police from the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office later took Clifton into custody for sex assault on a child.

Clifton is being held without bond.
