Group of skiers caught up in avalanche at A-Basin

KEYSTONE, Colo. – A group of skiers was caught up in an Avalanche at Arapahoe Basin Saturday afternoon.

The avalanche happened just before 3 p.m., when an A-Basin ski patroller led a group of 14 people within an "in-bounds" area of terrain in the West Montezuma Bowl.

Everyone was reportedly accounted for after the incident, but one person did hurt their knee.

The Colorado Avalanche information Center and Arapahoe Basin are investigating the incident.
