Website donates Valentine’s getaway to Lakewood soldier and his wife
Leah Morgan is glad to have her husband home with the family this week.
Valentine’s Day is their anniversary. The Lakewood couple has been married for eight years, but this is their first Valentine’s Day together in awhile. Guy Morgan is a CH-47 Chinook Flight Engineer who has served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He’s spent years away from home.
“He’s my hero,” Leah said. “He’s out there every day fighting for us.”
Guy is back home now and anxious to reconnect with his wife, and this Valentine’s day he’s getting a little help. Wade Rosen, the CEO of www.enjoywishlist.com donated a romantic getaway to the couple.
“I thought if anyone deserved a romantic getaway and adventure in Colorado, which is what Wishlist does, it was them. So I wanted to help with that,” Rosen said.
Enjoywishlist.com is a website that allows people to give Colorado adventures as gifts, and the Morgans got to choose one. There are options all across Colorado and the Morgans chose a getaway in Lyons. It seems like the perfect gift for this military couple.
“We are just so excited this year to actually be together,” Leah said.
