Teen’s Final Jeopardy answer makes him instant folk hero [VIDEO]
Leonard Cooper may be the best Teen “Jeopardy!” contestant of all time. And if not, there seems to be a brewing consensus that he’s at least the funniest.
The 17-year-old pulled far ahead of his fellow contestants after pulling a risky move: betting the entirety of his $18,000 stack on a Double Jeopardy. He double-up after answering correctly.
So when it came time for Final Jeopardy, Leonard was ready for a little fun and a much more conservative wager.
The question: “On June 6, 1944, he said, ‘The eyes of the world are upon you.’”
Leonard’s tongue and cheek reply, along with $0 wager? “Who is some guy in Normandy? But I just won $75,000!”
