Southwest Airlines finished second with 74.5 percent on-time for 4,717 arriving flights.

Denver-based Frontier Airlines took the No. 3 spot among the major carriers. With 2,970 flights, the airline was on-time 65.5 percent of the time.

The best airline at DIA in December was Alaska Airlines, which arrived 91.7 percent of the time on-time for 108 arriving flights.
