Elementary school music teacher arrested after alleged slapping, pushing incidents

THORNTON , Colo. -- An elementary school music teacher has been arrested for investigation of two counts of child abuse involving no injury.

Christine Holley, 61, is accused of slapping the hand of a 5th grade student and also pushing a 5th grade student which caused her to fall to the ground.

Thornton police department spokesman Officer Matt Barnes says Holley is a teacher at Hunters Glen Elementary.
