4 killed on Carnival float that catches fire in Brazil
SAO PAULO — A fire on a Carnival float killed four people in the Brazilian port city of Santos.
The Associated Press reports a fire department officials says the float caught fire at dawn, just after a school’s parade ended.
The officials say three of the victims were pushing the float and a woman who was watching the parade was the fourth person who died.
The AP reports witnesses said the float caught fire after it hit a power line.
