DENVER – A shooting on Federal Boulevard Saturday night could be gang-related, Denver police said in a video release Sunday.
The incident, which happened around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Federal and West Arkansas Avenue, apparently stemmed from a verbal argument in front of a store. One party pulled a handgun and fired several times. One male victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition, but the victim’s condition has since been upgraded to serious.
Evidence found at the scene led police to suspect that the shooter may be involved with a gang, but that the victim may not, the release said.
