DENVER — Rain turned into snow in metro Denver Wednesday night as a quick moving winter storm raced across the region.
Places south and west of metro Denver will see the heaviest snowfall. It was snowing hard at Parker Rd. and Arapahoe Rd. in southeast metro Denver at 9 p.m.
A FOX31 Denver viewer in Evergreen said they had about 3″ on the ground.
The storm was expected to clear out overnight. Lows will sit in the 20s then warm back up into the 50s Thursday and Friday.
The next system will develop in the mountains Friday, dropping temperatures and bringing back the snow this weekend. The strongest part of the storm will move through Saturday night with accumulation in the Metro Area.
