Health experts say there’s one way to clear up your skin, make your hair grow fuller and enjoy longer stronger nails — exercise.
Research shows exercise can do more than just slim you down; it can be the ultimate beauty treatment.
Fitness and nutrition expert Emilee Jones told us exercise boosts the way your body processes nutrients and antioxidants as it kicks your metabolism into high gear.
The result is a faster turnover in skin cells. You’re also likely to see a better result from spa treatments.
Jones said, “You look at all the products made for firming and tightening and holding everything in, if you build that muscle mass you’ll keep your skin firm.”
Exercise can also fortify your hair, delivering essential oils and vitamins.
Provided you get enough protein, your nails grow longer, stronger and super resistant to cracks.
Doctors say to increase your circulation you can take a 20 minute walk each day.
What you eat is extremely important because you want your increased circulation to deliver the right kind of elements to your body. Jones says go for the clean protein, like fish and chicken, and fill up on plenty of vitamin packed veggies and fruits.
“Be mindful that it’s not just grabbing what’s easy and grabbing what’s convenient,” Jones said.
Jones also recommends drinking at least six glasses of water each day to flush out toxins. That alone can help reduce under eye bags.
