Tom Brady mansion? More like $20 million castle, complete with moat
LOS ANGELES — Tom Brady won’t be going to the Super Bowl in 2013. Too bad. He’ll just have to go home to his newly-built $20 million mansion.
The New England Patriot quarterback and his supermodel wife Giselle Bunchen just moved in to the castle-like fortress in Los Angeles’ Brentwood neighborhood after three years of construction.
At 22,000 square feet, it looks big enough to hold every offensive linemen in the National Football League.
The grounds feature a backyard that doubles as a mini football field, a resort-like pool and a moat. No more need for trips to the park, either, because there is also a custom play area in the backyard for Justin, John and Vivian, the couple’s three kids.
There’s also a little something for mom and dad inside in the form of a six-car garage, a wine cellar, a weight room and an elevator.
All that luxury doesn’t come without a price, however, and apparent the couple plans to aid in the paying of utility bills with the array of environmentally-conscious solar panels that line the ample roof.
While it might have come sooner than he would have liked, it appears Brady will be living well this offseason.
