LAS VEGAS — There is a raging war among three Las Vegas properties to snag Britney Spears as their headliner, according to new reports.
TMZ is reporting that Spears was in serious negotiations with one of the Caesars properties to perform several nights a week on a regular basis, as well as make regular appearances at several clubs and pool events. TMZ says since it posted that story last week, two other properties — with at least one not associated with Caesars — have thrown their hat in the ring.
There’s a story out that Britney has already inked a $200 million, 2-year deal with Caesars. TMZ says that report is not accurate. The entertainment website says Spears is yet to sign a deal.
Sources connected with the negotiations tell TMZ that Spears could get $100 million a year for a Vegas deal, and maybe more. The basis for that projection is Celine Dion, who currently has a deal that pays her that amount.
