Body of mom found in trunk of car

ST. LOUIS — Police found the body of a mother from Oklahoma City who went missing in St. Louis in the trunk of her car according to KTVI.

Ebony Jackson’s car was found in a North St. Louis neighborhood Tuesday. Her 3-month old baby was found safe in an apartment complex Friday.

The woman had not been heard from since Thursday and investigators haven’t said how her infant ended up at the apartment complex.

Jackson lived in Oklahoma City but was visiting friends in East St. Louis when she disappeared..

Family members say she phoned a cousin who lives in St. John and left a message on his cell phone indicating she was going to visit him.

She never arrived.

The baby has been in state custody pending the results of a paternity test taken by a man identifying himself as the father.
