DENVER — Broncos running back Will McGahee returned to the practice field Tuesday for the first time since injuring his knee in Week 11 against the San Diego Chargers.
He wore shoulder pads, a helmet and a black jersey which signifies he’s not ready for contact.
McGahee went on injured reserve in November with a designation to return. He’s eligible to practice, but he is not eligible to play in a game until the AFC Championship, if Denver beats Baltimore this weekend.
McGahee had 167 carries for 731 yards and 4 touchdowns this season prior to his injury.
