DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. – Sheriff’s deputies have found Ethan Ryder, the 16-year-old who went missing Monday in Highlands Ranch.

“Ethan has been located and is doing well,” said Sgt. Ron Hanavan of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.

Hanavan did not say how Ethan was found but said he is at an area hospital.

Ethan went missing on Sunday around noon. He left his home in the 9800 block of Spring Hill Lane wearing only a T-shirt and jeans.

Temperatures Sunday and Monday never got above 30 degrees.

The family said this is the second time Ryder has wandered off in the last three days. He went missing for the first time on Friday night before being discovered at 3 a.m. on Saturday.

Authorities worried that because Ethan is developmentally disabled be may have become lost.
