Police say a man stole an assault rifle from the store just one day after the shooting spree at Sandy Hook Elementary, and that’s one of the reasons for the raid.
The AR-15 was taken from Riverview Gun Sales in East Windsor, Conn. It was later found in a a duffel bag at a hotel.
