NORTHGLENN, Colo. —  Despite the driving snow saturating the ground around it, a fire found a way to rip through a Northglenn apartment complex Wednesday morning.

Flames were widely visible from the 2-alarm fire that began on the second floor of the Regatta apartments on Irma Drive shortly after 9 a.m. Thankfully, North Metro Fire spokesperson Stacey Mulligan said all residents were evacuated safely.

Crews battling the blaze had the fire knocked down by 10 a.m. As of 12:15 p.m., investigators still had not confirmed what caused the fire.
