DENVER – An arctic blast of cold air moved into Colorado Saturday, forcing temperatures to take a dive into the low 20s.
FOX31 Denver Meteorologist Shanna Mendiola said most of the moisture is spread throughout the mountains.
The Denver metro area only experienced a light dusting of snow, but the mountains experienced anywhere from eight to 16 inches total by the end of the storm system.
Road conditions remain slick Sunday morning, and drivers are encouraged to use caution.
The sun returns and the snow exits on Sunday, but it will be very cold with highs only in the low 20s.
The good news is temperatures will warm up throughout the week, close to our average temperature which is around 42 degrees for early December.
