DENVER — Broncos linebacker Von Miller was named AFC Defensive Player of the Month for November the NFL announced Thursday.
It’s the first time the second-year player has won this particular award.
Miller had two games where he sacked the quarterback three times during November.
The last time a Denver Broncos player won the Defensive Player of the Month award was in October 2006 when Champ Bailey did it.
Quarterback Peyton Manning won the AFC Offensive Player of the Month award in October of this season.
