COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Police originally received reports of a stabbing at a Colorado Springs mall, but arrived on scene to find that an altercation between two female shoppers in the early morning hours of Black Friday was less serious.
Colorado Springs police officers arrested two, Sergio Robles and Tiana Robles, after it was determined that both had helped escalate a fight between two females at the Citadel Mall on 750 Citadel Drive around 1 a.m.
“During the investigation it was discovered the victim and two suspects were involved in verbal argument, which escalated into a physical altercation,” Lt. Jane Anderson said. “Colorado Spring Mall Security Officers were able to apprehend the two suspects until officers arrived.”
The victim in the case was a female struck with a closed fist. She was treated for her injuries on the scene and released.
