DENVER — The El Paso County Sheriff plans to hold a news conference Tuesday to update the case of missing 19-year-old model Kara Nichols.
Nichols went missing Oct. 9. Investigators have called her disappearance suspicious and have been asking for the public’s help in finding her.
“It is the hope of the Nichols family and that of the Sheriff’s Office, that highlighting this case will produce valuable information or investigative leads,” said Lt. Jeff Kramer in a news release.
Members of her family will be at the news conference including her father, Paul.
A page on ModelMayhem.com lists Nichols as a lingerie model. It’s believed she was driving from Colorado Springs to Denver regarding a modeling job when she disappeared.
Nichols is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and 120 pounds. She has blonde hair and green eyes.
