Man shot, injured in Denver alley Friday night

DENVER – Police are looking for two men they said fled after a man was shot in a Denver alley Friday night.

According to the Denver Police Department, witnesses heard people arguing in the alley between Pearl and Pennsylvania Streets near Colfax at approximately 11 p.m. Friday.

After shots were fired, a man stumbled out of the alley and made his way to Jack’s Market on Colfax Ave. to ask for help, police said.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he remains is in stable condition, according to Sonny Jackson, a spokesman with Denver police.

Investigators said they are looking for two suspects who fled the scene, but they do not have solid descriptions of the men at this time.
