DENVER — The Colorado Dental Board has the power to suspend or revoke a dentist’slicense, but it is bound by a Colorado law that allows dentists to re-apply for a license in just two years.

We found other states have laws with more teeth. In Arizona, Utah, Wyoming and Pennsylvania dentists must wait five years before re-applying for a license.
In Arkansas and Florida a revoked license can never be reinstated.
